Holland Water invites high-caliber providers of building (water) management services – from any country in the world – to become a national or regional distributor of HW watertech systems.
Sustainability and healthcare are inherently connected. Every sustainability challenge in healthcare involves balancing patient safety with potential ecological benefits. Hospital Klina in Brasschaat, Belgium, has found this balance in both water safety and sustainability through the implementation of HW Bifipro®.
Hannah Snoeck, Project Manager for Innovation and Sustainability, shares: "We found a great partner in Holland Water to collaborate on this project, exploring how we can achieve savings in a controlled environment while ensuring that patient safety remains optimal."
Over the past three years, AZ Klina has not detected elevated legionella levels in their water samples. This success allowed the hospital to gradually lower its hot water temperature. Luc Knaepkens, Hospital Hygienist, explains: "After each negative test result, we reduced our hot water temperature by 3 degrees. Over the entire period, we have reduced it to 45 degrees with consistently negative legionella results. This has had a significant impact on CO2 emissions, and on the other hand, it has led to huge energy savings."
Holland Water invites high-caliber providers of building (water) management services – from any country in the world – to become a national or regional distributor of HW watertech systems.
Twee decennia geleden zijn we gestart met het ontwikkelen van anti-legionella watertechnologie. Door deze doelgericht en nauwkeurig te implementeren, staan we nu op het punt die technologie wereldwijd te verspreiden.
